Pizzacut

Context

An illustration born to explore how a pop, ironic subject holds up both in block print and in its digital translation.

Concept

A pizza slice as a small absurd theatre: cats stealing the pepperoni, a comic detail tucked into an everyday subject. It is the same logic behind Kyoto Streets or The Torineser, applied to food instead of a cityscape.

Execution

Drawn first as a linocut block, then vectorised digitally to test how the language holds up on cleaner, more scalable formats.

Applications

From limited-edition art prints to licensing and packaging applications, where the same voice needs to work across different formats.
