Interpreting the concept of “switch” as a radical yet necessary transformation.
When I think about the phrase “taking a big step,” I imagine it as something monumental. It is that moment when leaving your comfort zone means stepping through a door that has become tiny, not because it has shrunk, but because the reality we once inhabited has become too narrow for our new inner stature. This change is a snapshot of necessary disproportion, undertaken without loneliness. We move under a familiar gaze that we carry with us, one that watches over our shoulders as we step outside. It is the body becoming giant to finally reclaim its space.
